St. Patrick's Anglican Teams with Lord of Life Lutheran for VBS

Children from Lord of Life Lutheran and St. Patrick’s Anglican Churches in Mill Woods united from August 13-16 for a Seussian-themed VBS adventure. Inspired by James Kemp’s book entitled The Gospel According to Dr. Seuss, four Seuss stories were selected to shape our week: Yertle the Turtle, The Lorax, Horton Hears a Who, and Oh, the Places You’ll Go. Each of these stories were then paired with a Bible story and followed by crafts, games, and activities around the day’s theme. A fun and faith-filled time was had by all! Submitted by the Rev. In the spirit of peaceful dialogue, understanding, reconciliation, and healing, we walk alongside our Indigenous and Métis relations on the Treaty 6 and Treaty 8 Territories, the traditional meeting ground of Cree, Saulteaux, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Nakota Sioux, Dene, Métis, and Inuit peoples.
