Calling all 11-15-year-old adventure-seekers! This summer's Christian outdoor adventure camp happens at Marten River campground, from July 14-20.

Our Camp Director Dr. Mark Armstrong will lead Base Campers north to Alberta's inland ocean, Lesser Slave Lake. The water and wildlife there is a lush contrast to the Badlands of Bad Donkey Base Camp, last year.

Base Camp offers fun, companionship, campfires, canoeing, sit-upon kayaking, and hiking. This year's theme is linked to the Baudelaire orphans: A Series of Unfortunate Events. So the best advice is to Look away, look away, look away!  There will be lots of suffering to go around! Lesser Slave Lake is on a major bird migration route, and we are planning a trip to the Bird Observatory there.

The cost for the full week is $350.

Or would you like to volunteer to be on staff this year? Camp is still looking for a life-guard and more counsellors. Plus, we need a certified Cunningham bus driver to get us to camp!

For more details, please email Mark Armstrong.

Volunteers and campers can register online here.
