Thursday morning, October 14, active clergy of the diocese will gather, on Zoom and in limited numbers at a few in-person venues, for their first opportunity to hear from their new bishop.
"It was our great hope that we could have a clergy day in person," says Bishop Steve. "This was both because we are starting a new chapter in our life together, and because in this time of pandemic, we all know the importance of being together. However, circumstances are such right now that we need to practice due caution."
Bishop Steve hopes to begin the process of hearing from clergy about what is important to them and to share his vision for the diocese, which continues to develop as he meets each week with more and more of our parishes.
