The Ven. Jordan Ware, diocesan archdeacon for social justice and community connection, is excited to announce the return of the Edmonton Diocese Anti-Racism Book Club.

This year the book club will begin to grow in two directions. There will be a Foundations group which will meet and discuss four incredible books chosen to increase awareness of the experiences of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Colour) individuals and challenge readers to view the world through a new lens. A second group, Building on Foundations, will take a deeper dive into the impacts of racism in everyday life and build on the ideas and tools discovered in the Foundations group.

Anyone new to their anti-racism journey is invited to join the Foundations Book Club which will meet, on Zoom, for the first time on October 26. Contact Archdeacon Jordan at rector@goodshepanglican.org to sign up for either book club meeting and to receive a promo code to get 15% off a book when purchased through the Glass Bookshop.
