Bishop Steve Recognised for Commitment to Ecumenical Dialogue

Bishop Stephen London was presented with the Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal at Government House in Edmonton on November 15. A member and past chair of the Strathcona County Ecumenical Mission Committee since 2012, Bishop Steve was recognised by Her Honour, the Honourable Salma Lakhani, Lt-Gov. of Alberta, for his commitment to ecumenical dialogue. In the spirit of peaceful dialogue, understanding, reconciliation, and healing, we walk alongside our Indigenous and Métis relations on the Treaty 6 and Treaty 8 Territories, the traditional meeting ground of Cree, Saulteaux, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Nakota Sioux, Dene, Métis, and Inuit peoples.
