Edmonton diocese supports and encourages clergy and lay people in all our parishes to seek ways to explore and deepen their experience of God.
Spiritual Direction, which is also known and perhaps better described as Spiritual Accompaniment, is one means to this end. There are 12 trained Anglican Spiritual Directors in the Edmonton diocese, a mixture of clergy and lay, as well as numerous Spiritual Directors in the Edmonton area and beyond who come from other traditions of the Christian faith.
