There is still time to Register Online for the Diocese of Edmonton and Friends Family Retreat Weekend. Single folks and families of all shapes and sizes are welcome! 

The Ven. Susan Oliver, Archdeacon for Children, Family and Youth Ministries, invites you to join her from July 7 (arrive Friday anytime between 2 and 5 pm ) to July 9 (Sunday at 1 pm), at Camp Van Es, located a half-hour southeast of Edmonton.

Take time away from your everyday routine to enjoy the outdoors, swim in the pool under the supervision of a lifeguard, walk the trails, or find a quiet place to read, or a not-so-quiet place to chat. There will be games and good food, too! SCHEDULE of ACTIVITIES

Using Bishop Michael Curry's teachings on The Way of Love, Archdeacon Sue and friends will explore topics of blessing, prayer, worship, the Bible, calling and rest. 

  • A $50 deposit is required to complete your registration and book your spot. *Spots are limited and rooms/cabins/RV spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.   
  • Registration fee is $200/per room/RV/cabin (includes meals: Friday dinner, three meals on Saturday, Sunday breakfast).
  • Bursaries are available!
