Music in the Gardens

Grab your lawn chairs and blankets, the Christ Church Garden Concert Series is returning for a fifth year. Held at Christ Church, 12116 102 Ave NW, Edmonton, on Wednesday evenings in July and August, from 7 to 8 pm, these free performances attract audience members from the neighbourhood of Wîhkwêntôwin (Oliver) and from all over the city to enjoy music in the lovely gardens. The series offers a diverse musical lineup, from jazz, world music, folk, roots and Indigenous to classical. 

• August 27 – Elly McHan and Rob Curtis – Violin & Piano - To celebrate the 100th birthday of Elly’s violin, this husband/wife team will play classical masterworks and familiar classical favourites!

The series goes on rain or shine. In the case of inclement weather or smoke, the venue will be moved indoors. Freewill donations support grounds' maintenance and community work.
