Anglican Church of Canada Primate Linda Nicholls and bishops invite the whole church to an online Prayer Vigil for the communities of James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon, THURSDAY, September 8, at 5 pm MST. Click here to access the Prayer Vigil online.

those who have died,
those who are injured
and those traumatized by this tragedy
in the light of God’s mercy.

In the spirit of peaceful dialogue, understanding, reconciliation, and healing, we walk alongside our Indigenous and Métis relations on the Treaty 6 and Treaty 8 Territories, the traditional meeting ground of Cree, Saulteaux, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Nakota Sioux, Dene, Métis, and Inuit peoples.
