At an Electoral Synod held Saturday, November 16, the Rev. Canon David Greenwood, priest-in-charge of All Saints', Athabasca; and St. Alban's, South Athabasca, was chosen as Bishop-elect. Greenwood will succeed Bishop Fraser Lawton who resigned September 8, 2019.
"It was a great day (at St. James' Cathedral, Peace River), the singing was amazing, the atmosphere was calm and relaxed...the Holy Spirit was present," said Canon Peter Clarke, Athabasca Editor, The Messenger.
