Celebrations at Lodgepole Communitas

On Sunday, October 25, the Lodgepole Communitas gathered at St. Faith’s for a joyful celebration. Archbishop Shane Parker, Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada, joined Bishop Stephen London to participate in the service with people from the Communitas’ many entrypoints. There was a confirmation, Indigenous ceremony, and Ugandan dancing. The Ven. Travis Enright led the baptism, introducing a new Cree baptism liturgy under development. The service highlighted the rich communiy of Lodgepole, which includes St. Faith’s and St. Mary’s Anglican Churches, Queerly Beloved, Avenue Church, reintegration and recovery ministries, food and meal ministries, and more.
