This week is all about certificates. Baptisms, marriages, confirmations and receptions into the Anglican church might all be occasions for which a certificate is provided.

Generally, certificates for marriage, baptism, and reception are provided and signed by the parish,  whereas a confirmation certificate will be provided by the diocese and signed by the Bishop. Note: An official wedding certificate (required to legally record a marriage) must be procured from the province where the couple is to be married.

The Anglican Church of Canada provides fillable certificates for many occasions. To access these certificates, please visit https://edmonton.anglican.ca/pages/clergy-info and click on the “fillable Baptism and Sponsor Certificates” link.
