Companion Diocese of Buyé Purchases Car for Archbishop's Travel

A portion of the Edmonton diocesan budget each year is designated for our Companion Diocese of Buyé. As Archbishop of the Province of Burundi, the Most Rev. Sixbert Macumi must travel between his home in Ngozi, where he still serves as diocesan bishop, and the Provincial Synod Office in Bujumbura. Archbishop Sixbert expressed gratitude for the car he was able to order from Japan with a $9,000 contribution from the Edmonton diocese.
