Students heading to the University of Alberta in Edmonton this fall are invited to check out the activities of the Lutheran Student Movement (LSM), an initiative from the Lutheran Campus Ministry supported by the congregations of the Synod of Alberta & the Territories of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada. As a registered club through the University of Alberta.
LSM acts as a community of faith for young adults in Edmonton, hosting weekly Tuesday night events at the Martin Luther House, a student residence located at 10941-88 Avenue Edmonton, AB.
Through the work of U of A Chaplain Rev. Richard Reimer and NAIT/MacEwan Chaplain Dana Rayment, this club is able to offer fellowship, community and pastoral care to students on campus.
The U of A Chaplain’s Office is located at 169E HUB Chaplains’ Centre (ground level, in the passageway across from the Multi-Faith Prayer & Meditation Space).
Students from all university institutions, as well as alumni are welcome to attend all LSM events. For more info about upcoming events, check out the NEWSLETTER
The Lutheran Campus Ministry-Edmonton is part of the “Reconciling in Christ” roster of communities and affirms that people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions are welcome within this ministry.
