Scam Alert

Several of our parishes have received emails asking for digital copies of parish directories. These emails are written to appear to come from real parishioners and use email addresses that look legitimate, e.g. [name]@shaw.ca. Our churches take confidentiality of personal information very seriously and scams are becoming more sophisticated all the time, so it is important to be very cautious. Do not forward parish directories to anyone without speaking to them directly by phone or in person first.

In the spirit of peaceful dialogue, understanding, reconciliation, and healing, we walk alongside our Indigenous and Métis relations on the Treaty 6 and Treaty 8 Territories, the traditional meeting ground of Cree, Saulteaux, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Nakota Sioux, Dene, Métis, and Inuit peoples.
