Water Spring in Kiziba Construction Update

The work continues in Kiziba, Burundi, where a system of pipes is being installed so that people can collect fresh spring water before it mixes with water on the ground and becomes contaminated. The funds for this project were collected at the special service for the 10th anniversary of Bishop Jane's consecration. The Synod Office received this email from the Rev. Dominique Ciza this week:

"Greetings from Buye. This is to let you know that we have started constructing Kiziba water spring.... The community is extremely happy with the construction, and people including children are helping in the transport of materials. This is an evidence of ownership of the project."
