Canterbury Foundation, a faith-based supportive living seniors’ residence in Edmonton, has offered the "Promise of Home" to Edmonton seniors for more than 40 years. Canterbury’s first Board of Directors was recruited from the membership of Christ Church and St. Timothy’s Anglican Church. Canterbury offers three seniors' accommodation options for a seamless continuum of care, so residents can stay in a familiar environment and age-in-place as their needs for support and assistance change.

Since April, 2018 the Rev. Joanne Webster, associate priest at St. Matthias, Edmonton, has provided dedicated spiritual care and emotional support as chaplain to the residents of Canterbury Court.
