This interfaith gathering provides the opportunity for those from different faith-based communities to come together to engage in knowledge sharing, learn more about addressing family violence within their respective faith community, and to dispel myths (race, gender, socio-economic, religion) and reduce stigmas associated with domestic violence. In the spirit of peaceful dialogue, understanding, reconciliation, and healing, we walk alongside our Indigenous and Métis relations on the Treaty 6 and Treaty 8 Territories, the traditional meeting ground of Cree, Saulteaux, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Nakota Sioux, Dene, Métis, and Inuit peoples.
