Fundraiser for Rural Uganda School Children

St. Mary’s Anglican Church invites you to join us for a dinner and silent auction fundraiser for school children in rural Uganda at St. Faith’s Anglican Church, 11725-93rd St. Edmonton, on the October 26. Doors open at 4:00 pm, and dinner will be served at 5:00 pm. The event is $30.00 per person. There will be an opportunity to bid on silent auction items.  

In 2014 parishioner Joyce Sekalala-Williams and her sister, a school principal who lives and works in rural Uganda, began a small non-profit under the name “Caring for Kids.” Together with our help, they have managed to provide lunch to all children at three schools in rural Uganda, provided school supplies, and paid for numerous children’s tuition and uniforms. Currently, there are children who are sponsored by the non-profit during the school term who have no place to go after the term ends. Your attendance and generosity on the 26th will help build a home for these children.
