What if you didn’t have any Scripture in your language? That is true for 1/2 of the language groups around the world. But God is actively bringing His Word to all people!
All Saints’ Anglican Church, Drayton Valley is hosting John and Juanita Feniak to share some of the amazing stories of God at work around the world as minority language groups receive the Scriptures in their heart languages.
John grew up in Drayton Valley and Juanita in Bow Island. In 2003 John and Juanita started their journey into missions with Wycliffe Bible Translators of Canada. After serving for 10 years in Thailand and S.E. Asia, they are continuing their mission work with Wycliffe, based out of the Calgary office. Wycliffe’s mission statement is: Ending Bible poverty by facilitating the translation of God’s Word among minority language communities worldwide.
We are so excited to hear from John and Juanita about God’s amazing work as the Word has come to many languages around the world. We welcome everyone to come and join us. The presentation will take place at All Saints’ Anglican Church, 5212–47 Ave, Drayton Valley, on April 23, at 2:00 pm with a time of fellowship, coffee and sweets to follow.
