The Edmonton Interfaith Centre for Education & Action will hold its annual commemoration of the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination on Tuesday, March 21 at City Hall at noon. Archdeacon Jordan Haynie Ware and Bella Asiri Opiyo have been invited to speak about Faith Spaces | Safe Spaces, an interfaith initiative to end racism co-led by the Anglican Diocese of Edmonton and the Islamic Family and Social Services Association (IFSSA). The program will also include an update on city initiatives to combat racism and a performance by the Black Coalition Choir.
