Church in the Park

Sunday, August 27 dawned clear and bright and warm - perfect weather for Church in the Park! Two southeast Edmonton churches, St. Augustine of Canterbury and St. Luke, got together at Gold Bar Park to enjoy an outdoor service - which included a challenging (for some of us) memory game. The theme came from Joshua 1, where God encourages Joshua to "be stong and very courageous" and to remember all that the Lord had written through Moses. That was followed by a lunch of hamburgers, hotdogs and all the fixin's, and then some Messy Church activities enjoyed by kids of all ages.
