Base Camp is an intense one-week experience for young adults who come on as volunteers. Training is provided to our volunteers to equip them for living in the wilderness (a provincial campground group site) with a pack of junior high students. There are opportunities to develop leadership skills: helping others, leading songs and skits, washing dishes, serving food, organising games, and managing conflict, all while being part of a close-knit community.
At the end of camp, our volunteers have memories to last a lifetime: adventure, late nights, and new friendships. The experience is priceless.
Consider giving a week of your time to the next generation. We are looking for counsellors, a lifeguard, and a cook. REGISTER ONLINE!
