Diocesan Announcement:

The Ven. Chelsy Bouwman is resigning as the Archdeacon for Rural Ministry as of August 31, 2026. She has decided to focus on her current ministry as the rector of St. Thomas in Sherwood Park. The Ven. Bouwman brought both experience and passion to this position. She served previously as Canon for Rural Ministry. We thank her for her service and are grateful for her leadership.

Diocesan Announcement:

Bishop Stephen London is pleased to appoint the Rev. Kevin Kraglund to the position of Archdeacon for Rural Ministry as of September 1, 2026. The Rev. Kraglund is currently the rector of St. Augustine in Parkland County. He has been active in this diocese as clergy since 2002. Bishop London looks forward to working with him as the diocese continues to find ways to accompany rural parishes for mission and ministry.
