Diocesan Base Camp Postponed Until 2021

It is with sadness that the Edmonton diocese has had to postpone all camping programs until next season. As of April 23, the Alberta Camping Association (ACA) recommends that "no in-person summer programs take place in 2020." At this point, we are planning to reopen base camp in 2021, however will re-assess the situation if there are announcements/changes made by the Medical Officer of Health before June 1. We will keep you posted!

In the spirit of peaceful dialogue, understanding, reconciliation, and healing, we walk alongside our Indigenous and Métis relations on the Treaty 6 and Treaty 8 Territories, the traditional meeting ground of Cree, Saulteaux, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Nakota Sioux, Dene, Métis, and Inuit peoples.
