Diocesan Children's Choir to Launch in Fall

Due to the rapid spread of the Omicron virus, the launch of the Diocese of Edmonton Children’s Choir is postponed until fall 2022. Supported by an Anglican Foundation of Canada grant, the choir will be free to kids ages 7 and up. It will be conducted by Laura Hawley and rehearsals will take place on Wednesday evenings, 5-6 pm, at Christ Church, 12116 - 102 Ave, Edmonton.

"This is an opportunity for children and youth to learn music connected to the church’s worship," says Christ Church Music Director Dr. Joy Berg. The intent is for the diocesan children and youth choir to perform at church services throughout the diocese and special liturgical events, i.e. Lessons and Carols services, throughout the year.
