Neighbours Respond to the Referendum

Civic Academies: Starting on September 15, the Greater Edmonton Alliance (GEA) is hosting community events across Greater Edmonton to talk about the October 19 Referendum and how a Referendum win would impact us. Then, we’ll ask about real pressures in our lives where we have the energy to act.

Attend an event to:

• Build relationships across immigration status
• Hear stories of the Referendum's impact
• Share stories of deeper pressures in our lives
• Move from private pain to public action

• Downtown Edmonton: Tuesday, September 15 at 7:00 pm at Central Lions’ Centre, 11113 113 St
• South-Central Edmonton: Sunday, September 20 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 10037 84 Ave NW.
• East Edmonton: Monday, September 21 at 7:00 pm at Kenilworth Community League, 7104 87 Ave NW.
• Leduc County: Sunday, September 27 at 6 pm at Peace Lutheran Church, 4606 48 St, Leduc.
• Sunday, October 4 at 6 pm at Kirk Centre, North Auditorium, 13535 122 Ave NW, Edmonton

After the Referendum: City-Wide Debrief and Discernment Assembly on November 3. We’ll gather again at the beginning of November to debrief the results of the Referendum and use it as a reason to build relationships across communities. Follow the link above to RSVP for this event.
