Phishing Scams

The Synod Office has heard about more instances of people in the diocese receiving emails that suggest they are from Bishop Steve, usually saying he needs their help or has something for them to do right away. These are emails designed to draw people in to a scam. There is nothing the diocese can do to stop these emails, but please remember the Bishop will never contact people in this manner. Also, a close look at the email address will show it is not from the Bishop. Never click on these emails. Delete them immediately.
