Yovella M., a member of St. George's, Edmonton and the diocesan anti-racism working group, thinks Anglicans should view systemic racism as a spiritual issue. She encourages parishes to take part in Racial Justice Sunday, an initiative started in the UK and Church of England. It will be observed for the first time in the Edmonton diocese on February 11. Yovella has compiled resources to help us pray for an end to racial injustice and has assembled craft kits for children. Racial Justice Sunday Booklet
