St. Auggie's Pets Blessed During Season of Creation

Seventeen people and 15 pets gathered outside St. Augustine’s Parkland, October 4, to celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi with a blessing of the animals and creation service to mark the end of Seasons of Creation. We recalled our responsibility to care for God’s earth, and that all of God’s creation sings with one voice as doggies howled with praise to God. Submitted by the Rev. Billy Isenor, rector
