Dear Friends,
I wanted to let you know with a heavy heart of the death of Dorothy Marshall last night. She had struggled with cancer over this past year, and is now at peace. She was a very active parishioner in the life of our diocese. She was the diocesan representative for PWRDF, the co-chair of the Social Justice Committee, columnist for the Anglican Messenger and faithful parishioner of St Andrew's, Camrose. In social justice issues, Dorothy had a special passion for food security especially through organic farming practices. She was only of the early organic farmers also seeking to raise high quality meats in a sustainable way. She loved the land, and planted hundreds of trees on her farm. She was also passionate about activities that helped develop people's relationship with God.
She deeply loved her family; please keep them in your prayers at this time.
May she rest in peace and rise in glory through the grace of our Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.
