Preparations for Virtual SynodWeek of June 14-20, 2021 Final arrangements are underway for the June 26 Electoral Synod. The Synod will be held virtually, with delegates joining through Zoom and voting electronically. The technology will be facilitated by a company called Data on the Spot (DOTS) which has successfully operated episcopal elections in two Anglican dioceses in the past year. DOTS will email voting credentials and instructions to delegates on Friday, June 18. As well, delegates will receive information about a Simply Voting training session to be held on Saturday, June 19, and opportunities to become familiar with the process on Tuesday and Thursday of the following week. Because this Synod is virtual, those who are not delegates will be able to watch the day unfold by tuning in to the All Saints' Cathedral YouTube channel. Proceedings begin at 10 am, Saturday, June 26. For more infomation visit:

Farewell Drive-by Paradefor the Rev. Billy Isenor Following the morning service on Sunday, June 13, we held a Farewell Drive-by Parade for the Rev. Billy Isenor and his family on what was his final day at the parish of St. Augustine’s Parkland. We saw more than 20 vehicles go by, some with up to six people in them. It was a great way to bid the Isenor family farewell. Rev. Billy has shared videos on our parish Facebook page with the caption: “What a send-off! Thank you St. Augustine’s Parkland for all the blessings, faith, memories, and joy. The Creator will bless you richly.” We wish Billy, Dana, Alison, Florence & Micah all the very best in their new home at Ocean Park, British Columbia. For more infomation visit:

St. Augustine's, Edmonton Plants Heart Garden to Remember the Childrenexpression of public mourning and remembrance Following a Sunday service at St. Augustine's where we reflected on the reality of finding the 215 children buried behind the Kamloops Residential School, Lauretta Howard organized with June Kohar and Pat Jameson to prepare materials for creating a 'heart garden' outside the church - an expression of public mourning and remembrance. As we continue to work and act for reconciliation, it seemed right to also mourn and remember these children who did not receive such expressions of grief in their own time.
