Prayer

Please use this prayer over the coming months as we prepare for the 70th Synod.

"Creator of life and possibility, who holds our past, present, and future in your loving hand, look with compassion upon your one great community of faithful people across every time and place, and especially at this time on the small corner of it which we know as the Anglican Diocese of Edmonton. As we gather together in Synod, grant us the eyes to see both the opportunities and the challenges that lie before us, as well as the courage to face them with clear insight and hopeful imagination. Inspire us again by the signs of the Holy Spirit springing forth among us, and show us in all things how to follow the Way of Jesus Christ our Lord; the one who lives, and reigns, and makes all things new. Amen."
