The Ven. Rachael Parker, Archdeacon for Rural Ministry (and now also Bishop-elect for the Diocese of Brandon) will be leading an Advent Quiet Day on Saturday, December 9, from 10 am to 2:30 pm, at St. Mary the Virgin, 5042 48 Ave, Vegreville. (Coffee, tea and a continental breakfast will be available at 9:30 am.) There will be a mid-day Eucharist included. A light lunch will be provided (donations welcome to help offset the costs).

Rural Ministry

In the spirit of peaceful dialogue, understanding, reconciliation, and healing, we walk alongside our Indigenous and Métis relations on the Treaty 6 and Treaty 8 Territories, the traditional meeting ground of Cree, Saulteaux, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Nakota Sioux, Dene, Métis, and Inuit peoples.
