At our June Edmonton Cursillo Ultreya, Dr. Arlette Zinck will speak on “Inherent Human Dignity and the Prisoner.” Dr. Zinck and her colleagues have developed a support program for a small group of Correctional Services of Canada inmates. Her work with prisoners was recognized in 2012 with a Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal.

Dr. Zinck is an Associate Professor of English and Dean of the Faculty of Arts at King’s University in Edmonton. In 2018, her excellence in teaching was recognized when she was selected to receive a 3M National Teaching Fellowship. She is first and foremost a teacher but also a master storyteller who’s teaching philosophy is rooted in the power of story to direct others’ sense of empathy from thinking into action.

Please join us on for encouragement, inspiration, thought-provoking conversation, laughter, song, fun and fellowship on Friday, June 15, 7:30 pm, at St. Timothy's Anglican Church, 8420 145 Street, Edmonton. Please contact our Fourth Day Chair, Ted Greenaway, at ted@iwonder.ca if you need more information or help with car-pooling.
