St. Patrick's to Dedicate Community Labyrinth

The parish of St. Patrick’s, Whitecourt is celebrating the realization of a dream. On August 19, at 9:30 am, the parish will welcome Bishop Jane Alexander to a Service of Confirmation and to the dedication of a community prayer labyrinth. Since the spring, members of St. Patrick’s have been busily working to transform their empty downtown church yard into a beautiful oasis for the whole community. The labyrinth is a circular foot path representing the physical, emotional and spiritual journey we all make through life. Completed at the end of July, this sacred space is intended to bring peace to those who walk it. All are welcome to visit the Labyrinth and join in the celebration!
