The parish of St. Aidan's and St. Hilda’s Anglican Church invites you to a church service and “Time Travel BBQ.” Built in 1910 and now a fully restored historic site, the homestead church is located just off of Highway 16 near the village of Wabamum. This chapel in the pines is a unique bridge between the Edmonton diocese's pioneering history and present day Anglican worship.
The service (BCP Morning Prayer) will begin at 10:30 am, with the Rev. Dr. Eric J. Kregel officiating. With generous support from Fusion Canada, there will be a free barbecue lunch, from 12-1:30 pm, along with games for kids, tours of the church and time for fellowship - leaving plenty of time to stop in at Lake Wabamum on your way home. This event will be cancelled if there is heavy rain.
