Cowboy Church

Every Sunday is fun in Wabamun, but Sunday, November 5 the fun-meter was amped up a few notches. The Mission of St. Saviour congregation worshipped in the Cowboy Church way in recognition of all those folks affiliated with the Canadian Finals Rodeo. We prayed for cowpokes, recognized Remembrance Day with prayer, enjoyed a sermon on happiness and then ate! We feasted on rice, chili, Mandarin oranges and, of course, baking. A heartwarming, toe tapping, belly filling good time was had by all.
