Penners Called to 'New Place of Ministry'
The Rev. Myron Penner has resigned as rector of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Edmonton. His last Sunday in the parish will be November 24, 2024. He has accepted a position elsewhere in the "Worldwide Anglican Communion of Churches," but has not publicly shared the location. We are thankful for Myron's and Jodi's ministry in the Edmonton diocese and wish them well. In his letter to St. Paul's parish, Myron writes: "...Your love and generosity for us and our family has been humbling and beautiful. Being your Rector has been a joy and a gift and Jodi and I count ourselves blessed to have been here among you. You have been Christ to us and we always will treasure our time with you and the relationships we have made here for the rest of our lives..."

East Vancouver Churches Organise Benefit for Jasper
A member of First Lutheran Church in east Vancouver is organizing a benefit concert for the Anglican Parish of St. Mary’s and St. George’s, Jasper and the Jasper Community Team Society (Jasper Fire: Caring Community Fund). When Claire Landry heard that wildfire had consumed more than 350 homes, businesses and several churches in Jasper last July, the news “hit close to home.” Although Landry now lives in Vancouver, she was a resident of Jasper, from 1982 to 87, and made lifelong friends in the community.
