Prayers for the Repose of the Soul of the Rev. Peter Heritage

Please pray for the repose of the soul of the Rev. Peter Heritage, retired priest of the Edmonton diocese. We learned of Peter's passing this week. He was 93 years old, born December 13, 1930, in Beckenham Kent, U.K.

Peter was ordained as a deacon in 1957 at St. John's Cathedral, Saskatoon, and was priested the following year. He first served in ordained ministry in the Diocese of Saskatoon. From the mid-1970s to 1980, he served in Edgerton, Paradise Valley and Provost on the eastern edge of the Edmonton diocese, and Devon and Leduc. He retired as rector of St. George's Anglican Church in Maple Ridge, B.C., in 1996.

Peter married Lois and they have three children. Please keep the Heritage family in your prayers.

The funeral service for Peter Heritage will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2 pm, at All Saints' Anglican Cathedral. Reception to follow.

You loved him greatly in this life; 
Now that he is freed from all its cares give him happiness 
and peace for ever.
