Please Pray for Repose of the Soul of the Rev. Ralph Warnock

With sadness, we have learned that Captain the Reverend Ralph Warnock died on May 14 at the age of 79 years.

He was ordained in the Diocese of Qu'Appelle in 1980. Since then, he served parishes in Saskatchewan and Ontario before becoming a chaplain to the Canadian Forces, then the City of Edmonton Police Service. In the Diocese of Edmonton, he served in interim ministry at St. Thomas, Sherwood Park and Holy Trinity, Tofield; Barrhead and Lac La Nonne; Vermillion and Mannville; the Battenburg Mission; St. Patrick's, Whitecourt; St. Augustine, Edmonton; St. Columba, Beaumont; All Saints', Drayton Valley, and St. Paul, Evansburg; St. John's, Onoway; St. Mary's, Vegreville; and as rector of St. Mary's, Edmonton. He also served in the Diocese of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, Province of the West Indies, and the Diocese of Calgary.

His funeral will be on Friday, June 5, at St. Leonard's on the Hill, Red Deer. Please hold Shelley and their family in your prayers.

We entrust our brother Ralph to your mercy.
You loved him greatly in this life; 
Now that he is freed from all his cares,
Give him happiness and peace forever.
