International Sisterhood

The Edmonton ACW partners with and supports the Mother's Union in Buyé Diocese in Burundi. In June 2014, the Edmonton ACW celebrated 100 years of women's ministry by inviting members of the Mother's Union to join them for "Come to the Water: Women of Faith, Women of Courage" - a special two-day conference at All Saints' Cathedral. 

Guests from Buyé diocese in Burundi, Africa, included Bishop Sixbert Macumi, his wife Clotilde Muhimpunda, the Rev. Dominique Ciza, and Canon Bibiane Nsengiyumva. Clotilde and Bibiane are leaders in the Buyé Mother’s Union.
