Church Admin Corner: Start Now for Christmas!

Church Admin Corner: Start Now for Christmas!

As we all know, this is a busy season for parishes. However, you can help yourself in a few weeks’ time by planning today. Start drafts of your Christmas Eve and Christmas Day service materials this week. You probably will not get them finalised, but even having a draft version ready to go now will make you much happier on December 23.

If you want to download a ready-to-go bulletin, there are bulletins available for all three BAS liturgical years and the full BCP liturgical year on the Diocesan website. These bulletins outline the movement of the service and reference page numbers in the liturgical texts used. These bulletins are available for download in Word or PDF format and can be printed on a single page, double-sided. The Word version bulletins are fully editable and may be changed in any way to suit your parish's needs. To download the bulletins, please visit https://edmonton.anglican.ca/parish-info/pages/service-bulletins.

Give yourself the early Christmas gift of pre-planning. It is the gift that keeps on giving!!

Spread the Word - Support Each Other and Our Ministry

Spread the Word - Support Each Other and Our Ministry

we are happy to help spread the word

Part of what unites us as a family of churches is the support we give one another and our ministries. We can do this by sharing our news and events (e.g., youth gatherings, parish fundraisers, worship services, community outreach, public lectures) here in the Synod Scene, the diocese's weekly e-newsletter. We have created a form to simplify this task. Click on the button below to upload a graphic or picture (horizontal / landscape orientation; 1500x784 px), and your brief news/event information. Submissions must be received by Tuesday at noon for inclusion in the current week's newsletter. Because the Synod Scene is public and posted to the diocesan website every week, please use parish (not personal) contact information in your submissions whenever possible. Have questions? Email communications@edmonton.anglican.ca or call 780-439-7344
