Emmanuel Anglican Church is located 38 kms north of Edmonton in the community of Gibbons.

You’ll find Emmanuel Anglican Church at 4607 - 50 Avenue right off of Hwy 28A. Stop by the church when you arrive in town and take a selfie out front before checking out some favourite attractions recommended by local community members.

Located five minutes north of Gibbons at 2-23210 Township Road 564, get up close and personal with a forest full of massive and majestic dinosaurs! Watch herbivores like Stegosaurus and Triceratops graze peacefully while primeval predators like Albertosaurus and Tyrannosaurus stalk in the shadows. Meet these and many more prehistoric creatures while walking two kilometers of boardwalk trails through a beautiful, old-growth forest. Budding paleontologists can use scavenger hunt sheets to hone their dino-finding skills! Jurassic Forest also has a concession on site for hot food or snacks. You are also allowed to bring in your own food. Picnic tables are perfect for hosting a picnic lunch! Jurassic Forest also boasts a mini golf course that you can play, although it is an additional cost, and there is a gift shop with lots of fun dino toys, treats and tools!!!   

While in Gibbons stop at, explore and take delight in local and Albertan pioneer history at the Gibbons Museum. Consisting of four preserved and relocated historical buildings, the original Gibbons fire hall, a functional windmill, a fantastic outdoor display of antique farm machinery, picturesque gardens, and more, the Gibbons Museum is certain to entertain and inform!  The museum also hosts Pioneer Days, a weekend packed with family events and more.  You’ll find the museum located at 9704 – 96 Ave in town. 

Goose Hummock Golf Course is a first-class golfing experience located just minutes north of Edmonton near Gibbons. The Goose" was designed by Bill Robinson from Oregon and is an 18-hole, public, championship course. It is a combination of Scottish and everglades architecture that twists and turns for 6,500 yards through interlocking ponds. Head out to Gibbons and challenge the Goose!
