The document Finding Our Way  which was based on input from throughout the diocese, begins with the Gospel at the Center, is founded on five Principles, and outlines 12 Goals for the Diocese of Edmonton. The 10th of these goals is Affirmation:

We will affirm and declare publicly, intentionally, and explicitly our commitment to the welcome, safety, and full access of siblings in the LGBTQ2SIA+ communities within our churches and will support these commitments with requisite diocesan policies and training. 

Watch for specific actions and milestones which will be developed in regard to this goal.
