The document Finding Our Way  which was based on input from throughout the diocese, begins with the Gospel at the Center, is founded on five Principles, and outlines 12 Goals for the Diocese of Edmonton. The 12th of these goals is Renewing the Earth:

We will recognise the ecological crisis we are in and implement policies and practices to tangibly reduce the environmental footprint of our church buildings, our homes, and ourselves. 

Watch for specific actions and milestones which will be developed in regard to this goal.
