The document Finding Our Way  which was based on input from throughout the diocese, begins with the Gospel at the Center, is founded on five Principles, and outlines 12 Goals for the Diocese of Edmonton. The third of these Goals is Formation:

We will reanimate programs that serve the ongoing spiritual growth of children, youth, and adults of all ages, and will seek to support all members of our diocese in embracing their own call to ministry through spiritual gifts discernment, opportunities for mentored experience, and pathways of educational formation. 

Watch for specific actions and milestones which will be developed in regard to this goal.
